1. How do I submit an Interdepartmental Request (IDR)?

• Fill out a Facilities Management Work Request (IDR) and submit it to Mail Stop 1048

2. Moving Something?

• For items with a UNLV Property ID number, submit a Property Movement Request to Inventory Control (purchasing).  For all other items, submit a Work Request to the Help Desk (first received, first served).

3. My lights are flickering/burned out!

• Call the HELP line at 895-HELP (4357) if the lights are flickering or a light is burned out and it's too dark, otherwise you can submit it through the Work Requests Page.

4. I am hot - I am cold!

• All hot/cold requests have to be called through the HELP line at 895-HELP (4357) - Do not submit through the Work Requests page.

5. Toilet's overflowing!

• Immediately call the HELP line at 895-HELP (4357) - Do not submit through the Work Requests page.

6. I want new carpeting, new cabinets, new window coverings - and who pays for it?

• An IDR needs to be submitted, and usually your Department has to pay for it.

7. I need a key!

• All Routine requests must be submitted on a Key Request Form, they must be authorized and identify the person, room and building. (Refer to Key Policy)

8. ...Oops, I forgot my key!

• Check with the Department Head for the Sub-Master.  If the Department Sub-Master is not available, call the HELP line at 895-HELP (4357).   If prior or after bushiness hours, call Public Safety (53668). (Refer to Key Policy, Page 3, Section X)

9. I lost my keys!

• All lost/stolen keys must be reported immediately and a Key Request Form must be submitted for replacement keys along with a Lost/Stolen Key Report.  An IDR must accompany for the cost of the replacement key and/or any re-pinning necessary. (Refer to Key Policy, Page 4)
