Evergreen, to 8ft., shrub; leaves are small about 3/8" long, olive green, and may be covered by a sticky secretion; less than an inch across single yellow flowers are abundant in early spring; flowers are followed by small seeds covered with white hairs. Mojave desert indicator plant.
