Completion: 1976

Designed around an attractive atrium, this 75,000-square-foot structure houses the offices, laboratories, and classrooms of the department of biological sciences, including specialized facilities for mammals, birds and insects, a herbarium, and small animal living quarters. Also housed in this building are cooperative research units sponsored by the National Park System and headquarters for the Desert Biology Research Center and the Lake Mead Limnological Research Center.
