A special pick-up is any increase in the normal amount of material your department generates. For instance, if you are shredding a number of files, or you have boxes of books to be recycled, or a large amount of cardboard, you will need a special pick-up. Any large amount of material should be submitted for a special pick-up. Large amounts of material slowdown the normal collection route, so please be considerate and either call 702-895-3760 or email tara.pike@unlv.edu.
